Spring is finally here! The weather is absolutely gorgeous outside and you need to go out and experience it yourself with your family. Take advantage of the Easter break and consider some of these possibilities:

1. Have a picnic

Grab your friends or family and your fluffiest blanket and hit the outdoors in style with a casual picnic. Nothing says comfortable and relaxed like an afternoon spent breathing in fresh air, eating good food, and spending time with loved ones. And it's good for you!

2. Head to the beach

Hate crowds? Beat the summer rush by heading to the beach in spring! The water may still be a little cold, but there's more to the beach than swimming. Walk along on the sand, work on your tan, or watch the waves. Early morning beach goers may even see some dolphins or seals!

3. Visit the zoo

Don't feel like leaving the comfort of the city? Visit your local zoo instead! Many zoos open up again during this time of year and offer spring specials. Plus, lots of animals are especially active during the spring so you might see the big cats do more than just laze about in the sun.

4. Adventure to a park

Whether it's your neighborhood park or a national park, an excursion outside does wonders for your health. Take in the sights and, most importantly, the sounds of the natural wildlife. Take a simple guidebook with you and go bird or squirrel watching. You could make a game of it with your friends and family!
